Researchers discover that Twitter mood can predict stock market

Check out my latest contribution over on Examiner, which discusses some interesting findings by IU researchers regarding the correlation between Twitter moods and the stock market. Twitter to follow who you follow and serve targeted promo tweets

Yesterday, Twitter announced an addition to their Promoted Tweets advertising platform.  The enhancement will allow advertisers to serve targeted tweets based on who Twitter users are following. Indianapolis company combines breakfast and social media

I thought this looked like a cool local networking group for Web professionals and enthusiasts. It’s a great opportunity to get to know other locals in the industry and to gain valuable knowledge on a broad range of social media related topics. The group is called SMB Indianapolis.  SMB (Social Media Breakfast) is a networking group of sorts that hosts monthly breakfasts where like minded new-media fans can eat, share, learn and collaborate.  Check out my Examiner article for full details.
